WARREN, Mich. - Art Van Furniture , a Top 100 furniture and mattress retailer, is planning to open its seventh Missouri showroom in Cape Girardeau, with a grand opening celebration set for June 23.
The new store will be located in the former Hutson Fine Furniture and Mattress location. Art Van Furniture opened six new stores in St. Louis, Missouri earlier this year.
The new, 38,000-square-foot Art Van Furniture showroom will be locally owned and operated by brothers Chris, Dave and Jeff Hutson, who ran their family`s operation which had been in business for 73 years.
[In today`s retail world, it`s all about your partners," said Chris Hutson. [By joining forces with Art Van Furniture, the residents of Cape Girardeau will enjoy a larger selection of merchandise, more competitive prices and an enhanced shopping experience."
The showroom, located at 43 S. Main Street, has been renovated and will feature signature Art Van Furniture departments including Magnolia Home by Joanna Gaines, Cindy Crawford Home, Outlet at Art Van and Art Van PureSleep.
The new store bring Art Van`s total number of furniture showrooms to 73 throughout Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Iowa and Missouri, in addition to Art Van PureSleep mattress stores.
